Sweden. She moved to the United States
at a young age and lived in North and South
Carolina before she moved to California.
Before attending college, Hartman was awarded
the Duane Hagen Memorial Scholarship in recognition of excellence in visual
arts from the California Art Education Association. She later received her BA in Studio Art
from California State University, Sacramento, where she was presented with the
Dean’s Award in the College of Arts and Letters for academic achievement. After obtaining her degree, Hartman became a resident artist at the Old City Gallery in Sacramento, CA. She later became a member of
the Folsom Arts Association and the
Sutter Street Artists group.
Hartman has a passion for creating fine art
paintings as well as custom paintings and murals on commission.
